As a RIBO licensee you need 1 Hour of RIBO Ethics CE by September 30, 2019, and then a new hour of Ethics CE every year between October 1st and September 30th. How to View or Print your CE Certificates
All provincial insurance councils have regulations that require licensees to maintain continuing education records. Random audits can be conducted at anytime and if you do not have the supporting documentation, Council may take disciplinary action, including invalidating your license renewal. Alberta Continuing Education – New Expiry Dates
To continue to provide the highest quality continuing education (CE) for insurance professionals in Alberta, the Alberta Accreditation Committee (AAC) has determined that CE without expiry dates and those accredited for longer than three years, will be phased out and no longer be accredited for CE purposes. This ensures that all CE offered aligns to current market conditions and trends.
Technical CE Credits for BC Insurance Licensees
What are technical CE credits? If you are a Level 1 or Level 2 licensee, the only qualifying insurance continuing education is technical material directly related to General insurance products, compliance with insurance legislation and licensee requirements such as council Rules, Council’s Code of Conduct, the Insurance Act, and privacy legislation.
Don’t Delay – Enter your Manitoba Continuing Education (CE) Credits today
Don’t leave the entry of your completed Manitoba Continuing Education credits until the last minute. Continuing Education RIBO Requirements
RIBO Continuing education requirements vary by license and experience. All licensees must complete a minimum of 1 hour in the RIBO Ethics CE category, Principal brokers and deputy principal brokers can not submit RIBO Personal Skills CE, must complete a minimum of 5 hours in the RIBO Management CE Category.
